Whether you are buying or selling, for assurance and peace of mind, make sure that your Contract Agreement is subject to an IBIS Building Inspections property report.
All property inspections are carried out to the NZ Standard 4306:2005 ‘Residential Property Inspection’ with a list of over 100 areas to be inspected if applicable.
At IBIS we inspect the soundness and quality of the building or it’s alterations, to make sure there has been no cover up work carried out on your potential investment. We can also check for council approved alterations and installations on request such as long burners.
A comprehensive plain english and easy to read report is prepared on your property including full colour photos, detailing both the strong and weak points of the property and recommending any courses of action to be considered.
Our reports lead to a better understanding of the condition of the property by a lender making it easier to secure any finance required.

Experience
Our inspector brings over 30 years of experience having worked in the building industry since 1991 onwards including residential and high-end architecturally designed buildings, additions, alterations, light commercial properties and maintenance.
Three years experience of earthquake damage assessment, scope of works generation and cost estimations
Three years project management experience for projects including earthquake repairs, maintenance, upgrades, alterations and landscaping.
